Confiz achieves new milestone in workplace safety with ISO 45001:2018 OH&S certification

Driven by our commitment to safeguard employee well-being and foster a resilient workplace, Confiz is proud to have achieved the ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System. This internationally recognized standard confirms our proactive approach to identifying and mitigating workplace risks, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

ISO 45001:2018 sets the benchmark for robust Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management. At Confiz, this journey has meant turning standards into practice through targeted action and meaningful employee engagement. Guided by the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology, we have delivered over 1122 safety and health training sessions, equipping our teams to identify and address workplace risks at every level.

Our commitment to well-being extends beyond training. Through a range of initiatives, including unique challenges, art therapy workshops, a dedicated fitness week, and ongoing programs such as medical and wellness allowances, a healthier lunch menu, and ergonomic improvements like standing workstations, we have embedded health, safety, and wellness into the everyday employee experience.

Earning the ISO 45001:2018 certification reaffirms our commitment to protecting our teams, driving sustainable growth, and advancing our ESG journey, which complements our achievement of ISO 14001:2015.

True business success is measured not just in numbers, but in the well-being of the people who make it possible,” said Ahsan Saleem, General Manager Global SME. “This certification reflects our belief that protecting our teams is as critical as innovating for our customers. By embedding health and safety into the way we work, we are building an environment where people feel secure, valued, and inspired to contribute to a shared vision of growth.”

A special round of applause for Mahnoor Imtiaz, Senior Process Audit Specialist, whose leadership and attention to detail were instrumental in guiding Confiz through the rigorous ISO 45001:2018 certification process. Her expertise ensured that every requirement was met with precision, enabling us to achieve this milestone smoothly and successfully.

“ISO 45001 is about safeguarding people and building a foundation for long-term success,” said Mahnoor Imtiaz. “Every step of this process was focused on creating a workplace where safety is second nature, and where our teams have the confidence and support to thrive.”
