Confiz has successfully achieved ISO/IEC 27701 certification for Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), reinforcing our commitment to safeguarding personal data and strengthening privacy governance across the organization. This milestone reflects our focus on responsible data management and our continued efforts to uphold trust, accountability, and transparency in the handling of information.
Building on our existing ISO/IEC 27001 certification, ISO/IEC 27701 enables us to take a more structured and disciplined approach to privacy management by embedding privacy controls within our established information security framework. This ensures that personal information for employees, candidates, clients, and partners is consistently protected and managed with clear ownership and oversight.
Achieving this certification required focused alignment across teams, a clear definition of roles and responsibilities, and consistent application of privacy practices across business functions. These efforts have strengthened our ability to identify, assess, and manage privacy risks while supporting secure, compliant, and scalable operations.
“Data privacy is a core responsibility, not an afterthought,” said Ahsan Saleem, General Manager Global SME. “ISO/IEC 27701 reinforces our commitment to protecting personal information and demonstrates the seriousness with which we approach governance and compliance. This certification strengthens confidence among our clients, partners, and employees as we continue to grow and operate in a data-driven world.”
“ISO 27701 is not just a certification; it reflects our culture of trust, responsibility, and a people-first mindset,” said Affan Aijaz, VP – Global People & Culture. “It ensures that as we innovate and grow, privacy and security remain integral to our global workplace.”
This achievement was driven by strong cross-functional collaboration across the organization. Special recognition goes to the ISO/IEC 27701 team, including, Mahnoor Imtiaz (Senior Process Audit Specialist), Tayyaba Nisar (Senior Manager People & Culture), Mariam Nisar (Manager Talent Acquisition), Junaid Sahibzada (Director Talent & Learning), Zarnab Nadeem (Learning & Development Lead), Umer Majeed (Associate Director Total Rewards & Analytics), Abubakar Saleem (Manager People Experience), Usman Ayyub (Assistant Manager System Operations), Aamir Khan (Head of I.T & Business Continuity), Irfan Aslam (Senior Manager Workplace & Community), Faisal Asghar (Fleet Management Specialist), Shehroze Sikander (Associate Director Finance & Accounts), Kashif Arshad (Lead Procurement), Ossama Javaid (SEO Lead), and Ahmed Abdullah (Manager Compliance), whose collective effort and attention to detail were instrumental in meeting certification requirements.
