Confiz reaffirms its dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by extending its partnership with Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) for the fourth consecutive year. LRBT, a renowned charity organization devoted to preventing curable blindness and impaired vision in impoverished communities, has been a key focus of Confiz’s CSR initiatives.

With CSR deeply ingrained in its corporate culture, Confiz remains steadfast in its mission to address various social challenges through community development. This commitment is underscored by our ongoing partnerships with various organizations, including Shaukat Khanam, Al-Khidmat, Akhuwat, Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF), FAST, and others.

For over three years, Confiz has consistently demonstrated its commitment to LRBT’s noble cause of curing blindness and visual impairment in people. In 2023, we contributed PKR 2.37 million towards funding a slit lamp for the LRBT Hospital in Shahpur. Undoubtedly, this contribution has positively impacted patient care, as confirmed by members of the Confiz CSR Committee.

During our recent visit to the LRBT hospital, Confiz CSR committee members witnessed the transformative effects of our donation firsthand. They gained valuable insights into the hospital’s on-ground operations.

Our longstanding collaboration with LRBT enables us to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need,” said Amna Arooj, Operations Executive and CSR Committee member at Confiz. “We are proud to stand alongside LRBT in their mission to restore vision in children and young adults from severe eye diseases and promote equitable healthcare.”

In 2022, our partnership with LRBT resulted in a donation of 1.46 million PKR, allocated for a slit lamp at LRBT-Lar Multan Hospital. This hospital serves a catchment area of over 41 million individuals, providing essential eye care services in Bahawalpur, D.G Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, and Multan. This lamp is expected to screen over 44,500 patients annually, significantly enhancing access to eye care services in these areas.

In 2021, Confiz extended support to LRBT through donations for Applanation Tonometers and Cataract Surgeries. This contribution reflects our commitment to conquering blindness and restoring vision loss for the underprivileged.

This partnership with LRBT showcases our commitment to corporate citizenship and continuous efforts to drive positive societal change. As the collaboration enters its fourth consecutive year, we remain steadfast in advancing our shared vision of a world where curable blindness is eradicated, and everyone has access to quality eye care services.
