Confiz celebrates International Women’s Day with a Focus on Equity and Inclusion

On March 8th, 2023, Confiz celebrated International Women’s Day by launching a company-wide campaign promoting equity, emphasizing its commitment to equality and women’s empowerment. With the theme #EmbraceEquity, this campaign highlighted the need for creating a level playing field and equal opportunities for all.

To celebrate this day, Confiz joined hands with Chughtai Lab to distribute pink health cards to its female employees as well as its married employees’ spouses. Through these cards, women can avail discounts on different health services and easily take control of their and their families’ health.

Additionally, to highlight its commitment to fostering equity, Confiz sent a team of female employees to attend the Women in Business and Leadership Conference (WIBCON). Organized by PSTD, this conference is meant to recognize, acknowledge and empower women who are driving positive change. For Confiz’s female employees, the conference was a great opportunity to connect with women leaders in the industry and get inspired by their powerful stories.

Furthermore, to appreciate the extraordinary contributions of women at Confiz and celebrate their accomplishments, Confiz sent gifts to all its female employees across its global offices in Pakistan, the USA, and the UAE.

To elaborate on Confiz’s dedication to recognizing its female workforce and promoting equity, Affan Aijaz, Global Director of People and Culture, said, “Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is in our DNA at Confiz. We believe that by promoting gender equity, we can create a workplace where everyone can thrive, regardless of gender or background.”

Confiz understands that achieving equity means leveling the playing field and giving everyone equitable access to growth opportunities regardless of gender.

In the future, Confiz aims to stand by its commitment to creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture to support the empowerment of its women and further facilitate their career growth.
